Black Friday is around the corner and, like many of you; I’ve been planning to do some purchases looking forward to Christmas. This is a great opportunity to buy not only presents but also something that you need. But be careful! It’s really easy to give in to temptation and buy something you don’t need or over your budget.
In this blog post, I would like to share with you some tricks that could help you to make the smartest buy.
Make a list
It could sound stupid by this is the best thing you can do to stay focus on what you really need. There are a lot of good deals out there, but the idea is to save money, not buy more than you need.
I recommend you to do different categories: clothing, shoes or whatever you want to buy. You can write it on paper, on your phone or you can add all the items in a wish list on the website where you are planning to buy.
It’s really important to do this a few days before in order to avoid buying impulsively.

Useful tools
As you probably know there are many tools that you can use to make you buy experience easier.
One of my favorites is Shoptagr. You’ve probably seen many influencers and YouTubers talking about this website, but it’s really a good way to plan what you want and save money.
You only need to download the app and get the bottom that allows you to save the items in the different stores. From then on, you’re ready to start saving!
You can save item categorizing all in lists that you can name as you want. Every time you save an item, you can not only add it in a specific list, but also you have the possibility to be notified when the item goes in sale.
Adding to this you also can get coupon codes before you proceed to the payment and from some of the websites, you can get an amount of cashback from some of the affiliated brands. For me, it is one of the best tools you can use to save money by buying.
As a small tip, if you are planning to use it or you already do, I recommend you to save the same item from different shops because not always you can get the same discount from all of them at the same time or one could have a better one.

Set a budget
It doesn’t matter how many good deals you find on the Black Friday, if you spend more than you’ve planned, that may not work out for your savings.
In order to follow this tip, it would be quite convenient to follow the other two steps first. If you don’t have a plan it’s easier to lose the way.
Make a list, save the items and try to adjust you purchase to your budget. As simple as that.
Do you also plan your Black Friday’s purchases or do you prefer to buy more impulsively?
